| The TRACE Power
Module System is a "balance of system"
package designed to permit seamless system integration. Aimed at meeting a broad range of
applications, the modular design facilitates installation standardization while permitting
maximum flexibility. It allows isolation of components, wiring and safety circuitry in a

| The PM system
cabinets can be connected together in stacks of up to four high. Each stack can be used to
house just the electronics (inverters, controllers, and AC/DC breakers), a combination of
electronics and sealed batteries, or to house just batteries as an adjacent stand-alone
cabinet connected to an electronic power module. Many features combine to make the PM system ideal for distributors and dealers. The basic PM configuration is supplied complete with AC/DC breakers, wiring and mounting screws for field installation. Modules are easily stocked since they are not specific to 12-, 24-, or 48- VDC systems. C40 charge/load controllers, inverters and batteries are supplied separately allowing distributors and dealers to pull from existing stock. A variety of optional kits are available and can be field installed. Modular design allows field upgrades and expansion of the system as needed. Individual modules are standardly shipped via UPS and are easily moved and assembled by one or two people. The inverter and batteries are shipped separately. Special packing is required when shipping a fully assembled module (inverters included) by truck freight, consult Trace for additional cost. |

Configurations for SW and DR Inverters |
Basic combinations of Power Modules for inverters and
AC/DC disconnects, includes complete cabinet with top and doors, and all mounting
hardware. Breaker layouts and cabinet dimensions can be found on the Power
Module Option DC and AC Breakers/Disconnects page and the dimensions
page. All single inverters and the dual DR inverters fit in one module, dual SW inverters
fit in two modules. Includes all wiring between breakers and inverter, DC battery
disconnect, AC input/output/bypass breakers, DC shunt and bonding block, and AC neutral
and grounding blocks. Add C40 Charge
Controllers and battery modules to complete the system.
