effort to bring our customers the best value, has acquired these very high amp/hour rated
storage batteries. Produced by Fulmen the foremost European battery manufacturer,
these batteries were originally intended for a mining concern that went out of business
and were never put into service. Rather than paying to ship them back to Europe,
Fulmen sold them to us. Their loss is your gain! The high amp/hour
ratings for these batteries mean that you can have a larger storage capacity in a smaller
area or reduce your cost for your amp/hour storage requirements. For example:
In a 24 VDC system, it would take 20 FS6D's to have a storage capacity of 1750 amp/hours,
cost around $3700; with IBE 2 volt cells for 2100 amp/hours(18 cells) would run over
$5000; 1900 amp/hours is achieved with 12 of the XTEF 29 at a cost of $3060 and takes up
about one forth the space. These batteries are in very limited supply. If you
